MANAGING DIRECTOR

Andrew Holmes, Managing Director of A&B Installations Ltd, has been working within the access flooring industry for over 30 years and within that time has gained a reputation for his ability to combine a superb service for his clients with unrivalled technical know-how and support. Andy began working as an installation operative for Intek, before working for Atlas and Hewetson Raised Access Flooring (now Kingspan Access Floors.) Andy made the step away from installation in 1997 and brought the wealth of knowledge he had gained to a management role with Kingspan Access Floors. After 14 years managing major contracts for numerous reputable access flooring companies, Andy decided it was an opportune time to strike on his own and since then hasn’t looked back.

Michelle Holmes

Michelle Holmes

OFFICE MANAGER

Michelle has been with the company since the beginning, previously working in various roles within the public sector. Michelle oversees the company accounts systems and manages the administration of the office.

Patrick Hardy

warehouse manager

Originally from Co. Mayo in Ireland, Patrick moved to the UK in 2012 and has worked numerous roles within the construction industry before taking his role with A+B Installations. Patrick joined A+B Installations in 2014 and progressed rapidly to take management of all warehouse operations including stock control, goods dispatch and pallet line services. Patrick is a qualified fork lift operative and is also A+B Installations’ onsite first aid colleague.

Stuart Wastie

Stuart Wastie joined A&B Installations two years ago as Senior Contracts manager. Stuart originally began as an installation operative, working for Hewetson Access Floors, Stuart has worked on many major works including a number in Hong Kong and the far east. Stuart became a project manager for Access Flooring Services and brought his installation knowledge to a management position. Stuart currently heads our southern office and runs all major works in the south of England.

Bill Grady

Contract Supervisor (co-founder)

Bill Grady has been with A&B Installations since its inception in 2007. Bill takes a very active role within the running and progression of works and, like Andy, has a wealth of experience and knowledge. Bill worked abroad for many years as an installation operative all throughout Europe before returning to Manchester. Bill oversees various works and provides on-site quality control as well as excellent technical support for all of our clients.

Joshua Holmes

procurement and sales

Joshua Holmes has been with A+B Installations since 2013 and deals primarily with procurement and sales of materials. Within this role, Josh has championed the use of recycled and refurbished access floor materials, working closely with interior strip-out contractors. By promoting the reuse and recycling of materials, Josh is actively striving to reduce waste within the industry whilst providing a cost effective and sustainable option for all his customers.

Liam Holmes

Quantity Surveyor

Liam Holmes has been with A&B Installations since 2009. Liam began working in an office administration capacity before completing a BSc (Hons) degree to qualify as a Quantity Surveyor in 2014. Liam oversees the commercial aspects of the company and provides our customers with an end-to-end service from the provision of estimates and quotations to settling final accounts, all whilst ensuring the highest level of service to our clients.

Nikki Wilson

Contract Administrator

Nikki is the most recent member of our team and joining in March 2016. Nikki’s major role is the provision of administrative support to other members of the team but has already taken many responsibilities outside of her role, including reviewing our Health and Safety procedures. Nikki is currently training to become a qualified health and safety assessor.
